Hey! I love to help folks like you experience and host God’s presence because I believe God’s presence changes everything.
I stumbled into ministry as a worship leader in my youth group when I was about 16 years old. In 2002, I pioneered our first presence-centered worship and prayer ministry in Greenville, NC (called 6:22 Ministries at the time).
I have authored two books called David’s Tabernacle and Enjoying Prayer, created an Enjoying Prayer course, and host the Presence Pioneers podcast.
My latest ministry venture is The Greenhouse, a new spiritual family and house of prayer that I started planting in Pitt County, North Carolina in late 2024.
I am honored to have been serving the Church in vocational ministry for over sixteen years. During that time, I helped pioneer three houses of prayer in North Carolina and previously directed nationwide leadership networks in the USA with Burn 24-7 and Awaken the Dawn.
I still lead worship when the opportunity arises, and I have written quite a few songs, though it’s been a while since I have recorded any music. You can listen to some of my older songs here.
I hold a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree from Covenant Theological Seminary (Greenville, NC) and was commissioned into ministry with the laying on of hands by Greg Kennedy and Elliotte Pearson in 2006. I currently live in eastern North Carolina with my wife, Shepard, and our four children.
